Thought 1.0 – Essence of Volunteering ✨

The Zero Plastic Community of Rajarata University took a significant stride towards environmental consciousness with their Thought 1.0 project, held on March 7th at the Management Auditorium of RUSL. The session focused on the theme “Essence of Volunteering” and featured Dr. Dilani Hettiarachchi, a senior lecturer renowned in the Faculty of Applied Sciences, as the keynote resource person. This project not only served as a catalyst for promoting eco-consciousness but also marked the beginning of the Thought project series, aimed at fostering ongoing dialogue and action within the community.

Members of the Zero Plastic Community actively participated in this enlightening event, which aimed to raise awareness about the pivotal role of volunteering. Ms. Hettiarachchi’s insights provided valuable perspectives on the benefits and importance of volunteerism, resonating well with the attendees.
