We are excited to announce the successful projects of our University’s Zero Plastic
Organization, a groundbreaking initiative aimed at reducing plastic waste and promoting
sustainability. This article focuses on Sin Plastico – Online Awareness Program on sustainable living and plastic reduction.
On the 25th of May 2024, an exciting online event called “Sin Plastico” will be conducted by Mr. Isuru Dapsara Kularathna, the Former Vice President of ZP Ocean and University Coordinator of ZP Movement. This program aims to raise awareness about sustainable living and the importance of reducing plastic usage.
The online format of the event allows participants from all around the world to join in and learn about practical ways to minimize their plastic footprint. With plastic pollution being a global concern, this program serves as a platform to educate individuals on the impact of plastic on the environment and inspire them to make positive changes in their daily lives.
During the event, Mr. Isuru Dapsara Kularathna will share his expertise and insights on sustainable living practices. Participants can expect to gain valuable knowledge on how to reduce plastic waste, make eco-friendly choices, and adopt sustainable alternatives in various aspects of their lives.
