Over several years, “ZeroPlastic” is improving as a strong organization with the contribution of over 2000 volunteers from the universities in Sri Lanka. We make the public aware of reducing plastic usage using effective and creative ways over the island. Moreover, we educate and empower communities in order to decrease the usage of plastic.
With that aim, every month of the year, we collect plastic waste from public places in Sri Lanka and hand it over for recycling. The last program was executed by University of Peradeniya along with the Leo district 306 Sri Lanka, all 6 districts together gathered with this common purpose to achieve the goal of saving the Waves of Ocean.
If you are interested in our mission and willing to join with us in order to create a beautiful country without plastic waste, click on the following link. In addition, if you would like to execute or empower such campaigns, do not hesitate to reach us.
