Lanka successfully executed a comprehensive environmental initiative, including
an awareness program, a cleanup campaign, and a food stall. This project aimed to
promote plastic-free alternatives, encourage community participation, and raise
awareness about the harmful effects of plastic waste.

To make environmental awareness more interactive and engaging, the project
introduced an artistic installation known as the “Fingerprint Tree.”
Participants were invited to place their fingerprints on the tree, symbolizing their
commitment to reducing plastic use. This unique initiative turned environmental
consciousness into a personal and emotional experience, reinforcing the
connection between individual actions and collective impact.
