In a remarkable celebration of environmental stewardship, Ruhunu ZeroPlastic University held its annual awards ceremony on 17th December 2023 at the University to recognize outstanding efforts in the fight against plastic pollution. Entitled ECOLUMINESCENCE, the event brought together community leaders, activists and young innovators dedicated to creating a sustainable future.
Their contribution to local environmental sustainability was celebrated here. At the ECOLUMINESCENCE Awards ceremony, seven awards and three appreciation certificates were presented to those who pledged for a plastic-free tomorrow. They are respectively,
