World Recycling Day
With the existence of humans, the amount of waste materials dumped on the earth surface keeps on increasing. The skyrocketing amount of garbage dumped on this earth can lead to many unwanted outcomes such as climatic emergencies. This can lead to bad effects to humanity such as, disappearance of natural habitats, growing garbage mountains, unhealthy human habitats, and serious health complications.
To overcome these issues many strategies were being used. One of them is recycling. Recycling aids in protecting our natural resources. Thus, recyclables, such as bottles, cans, papers and cardboards, are called the Seventh Resource. Recycling could reduce carbon dioxide emission. It is one of the major ways that can be utilised in the future to save the planet and mankind.
The day was initially created to recognise the importance of recycling and to emphasise on how recycling secures the future of our mother earth. As the eco-warriors, battling to create a plastic – free environment, let us join hands to promote recycling for a better environment on this day.
